Those who have been blessed with a green thumb and those who just wish they were are all invited to take part in a Brampton event that will provide them with the latest in gardening and horticultural tips.
The annual Seedy Saturday and Garden show will once again be hosted by the Brampton Horticultural Society and the City of Brampton. It will offer those who participate a chance to share their gardening secrets as well as swap and buy seeds. Gardeners will be able to network and form communities, and there will also be a variety of presentations geared towards those with an interest in horticulture.
Many kids are drawn to plants and how they grow, and there will be activities just for them to help encourage them to take an interest in the green world all around them. If visitors get hungry or just wish to share a coffee with their new found friends, the Seedy Café will be open for business. Poster printing can be used to help promoted events like this to the community.
As a special incentive to encourage community members to come out and find out more about what they can do to help keep the city “growing”, the first 100 people to arrive will each receive a free plant.
Seedy Saturday and Garden Show is scheduled for March 19th at the Century Gardens Recreation Centre Auditorium. The doors open at 10:00 am, and admission is free.
