Fundraiser helps welcome spring to Brampton

The 6th annual Holi Gala will be held next month in Brampton and is a fundraiser for the William Osler Health System Foundation.

Holi is a spring festival that takes place primarily in India and other Asian countries. It is often referred to as the festival of colors and Holi celebrations are now being observed around the world.

The gala will feature dinner and drinks as well as live entertainment provided by Lakhwinder Wadali, who is a folk and Sufi singer. The evening will also feature a silent auction. Sponsorships are available from $3,500 up to $75,000; sponsors will be recognized in the event program. Donations to the auction are also still being accepted.

The gala has raised over $1.5 million in its six years. The funds for this year's event will be donated to help Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness, the expansion of Etobicoke General Hospital and to fund Brampton Civic Hospital.

It is likely that many residents in the Brampton area would like to attend this fundraiser. To help spread the word, local Print shops often supply printed Invitations to organisers of events such as this.

The Holi Gala will be held at Pearson Convention Center on April 6 from 6pm-11pm. Tickets are $250 each at admission is restricted to those aged 18 and over.
