Female golfers to raise funds at BPW golf tournament

The Business and Professional Women's Clubs of Ontario (BPW) will be holding their 18th annual charity golf tournament this June.

The tournament is expected to attract at least 140 golfers who will help to raise funds for local charitable organizations. In the past, the tournament has raised funds for the Salvation Army Food Bank, the Women's Healing Centre and Wellspring Cancer Support Centre.

Tournament fees will cover golf, a golf cart, a boxed lunch, dinner, raffle prizes and a live auction. Local businesses and BPW members will probably be donating items to be sold at auction. It should be an excellent chance for business women in the area to raise money for charity while having a fun day out.

The golf tournament will also be a great networking opportunity for Brampton businesswomen. No doubt many of those taking part will be arranging for a new business card printing order in advance of the tournament. A lot of business is done on the golf course and this event should be no different. Business Cards can easily be tucked into a golf bag or a pocket for easy exchange both on and off the golf course.

The BPW charity golf tournament will take place at the Caledon Gold and Country Club on June 13, beginning at 11:30am. Fees are $120 for BPW members or $130 for non-members; dinner only is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Those who require more information can contact Linda Ford at 905-838-0200.
