The 2nd annual Fashion Against Poverty is taking place this July in Brampton, hosted by the Hands of a Hero Foundation.
The theme of this year's event is ‘Colours of Life’. Designers submitted their work in order to take part in the fashion show. Exhibitors will also be showcasing their latest products or providing information about community organizations.
Exhibitors paid $50 for a six-foot table, and sponsorships are also available from $250 up to $2,000.
The charities that will be benefiting this year are the Shining Light Project, which helps children in Ghana, and to the Hands of a Hero Foundation's summer youth program for the less fortunate in the Greater Toronto Area.
The fashion designers who were accepted into the show will have the opportunity to showcase their clothes and to make the community aware of them, while the charities will be given funds to help as many people as possible.
The Brampton designers who are taking part in the show will likely want to let their current customers or employers to know about it. They may work with local brochure printers to produce Booklets or Brochures highlighting the event and what they will be showing.
Fashion Against Poverty takes place at Gore Meadows on July 19 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets are $20 each. For more information, call 647-8881-5632 or 416-918-9079.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Booklets
