Women who have recently graduated and who feel they are underemployed, or are unemployed, can benefit from the Propel Your Career-For Women program. This initiative is a product of the combined efforts of Job Skills and The Propeller Project.

The classes , which follow a “boot camp” format, will be intensive and are designed to make a difference as quickly as possible. The participants will develop a career plan, hone their networking skills and meet individuals who can mentor them in their chosen field.

Any woman who has graduated in the past three years with a degree in one of the STEM subjects, and who is not employed in her field of study or feels she is underemployed given her particular education and skillset, is all welcome to apply to be a part of the program. Letterheads and other business Forms for the use of the organizers of this type of learning opportunity can be obtained from an area Print shop.

Registration for the next session of this opportunity for Brampton women to get some help in climbing the career ladder will be offered on January 22. It is scheduled to take place at 50 Sunnyvale Gate.
