Companies in nearby Brampton and surrounding areas who offer such services as business card printing, Stationery and brochure printing are eligible to enter.

The awards gala will be hosted by CBC Television’s Dianne Buckner, host of the Dragon’s Den television series. The purpose of these awards is to celebrate:

“excellence in quality printing, environmental initiatives and industry contributions”

There are three categories, which are then further broken down into a total of 29 sub-categories. These are:

• Industry Achievement – there are four awards in this category and submission is by nomination only
• Environmental Printing – there are five awards given in this category to companies who have the most environmentally progressive printing standards
• Quality Printing – There are 20 awards in this category which are given out for such products as Brochures, stationery packages, Business Cards, display graphics such as Signs and Banners, magazines and Catalogues, and Packaging printing.

Only products created or initiated from June until September 10 of the current year are eligible for the Environmental Printing and Quality printing categories. There is a fee of $110 for each single entry, $200 for two and $290 for three. Four or more entries will cost $90 per entry.

Awards such as these are important to the industry as they show the state of the industry and highlight quality products and services.
