July 8 of this year until August 27, the Rose Summer Theatre will entertain many a lucky theatre-goer. This marks the 12th year of the Rose Summer Theatre. Two musicals will be performed on the main stage and the studio theatre will host two plays. Scott Lale is the Artistic Director. Poster printing companies in Brampton will be on hand to help with promotional duties, as the Rose Summer Theatre looks to play to a packed house every night.
From July 8 – 30, The 39 Steps by John Buchan will be featured. The 39 Steps is a comedy which was based on a film by Alfred Hitchcock. Four actors form the cast, which features more than 150 characters. From August 5 – 27, The Drawer Boy by Michael Healey will be presented.
Two of Broadway’s most famous musicals will be performed on main stage. July 22 – 30 A Chorus Line will be presented. Various dance styles fill this musical.
Cabaret shows Aug. 19 – 27.
Returning subscribers to summer theatre can purchase subscriptions now. On March 7, new subscriptions were offered for sale, with single tickets available to buy on April 4.
A discount of 20% will be applied when purchasing a package of all of the shows for $94.40. You can save 15% by buying a bundle of three of the shows. When purchasing a three-show package, prices range from $73.10 to $77.35, depending on the package chosen. HST is not included in the listed ticket prices.
