The Pink Orchid Studio in Brampton offers a variety of learning opportunities, and this fall it will be holding a program to help salons with wedding hairstyles.
The workshop will follow a step by step format that will teach the assembled group how they can create five different styles that are especially suited to South Asian hair. It will be offered in a classroom setting, and the low bun updo that will be one of the looks is a previous winner of the Professional BC Wedding Award.
The participants will find out how to use and secure hair extensions, as well as hair padding, and styling tools will be included. The utilization of pins and hair jewellery is also on the agenda, and a discussion of how to choose the right products for a client’s hair texture will also take place.
The registration fee for this five-day workshop is $2,435.73. Texts and other hard copy materials for this type of function are sometimes sourced from area Print shops, alongside customized certificates to present to each successful participant.
The Pink Orchid Masters of Hair Design program will run from November 23rd until November 27th. The venue for the sessions will be released to the registrants at a later date.
