Brampton workshop to point the way to a perfect pitch
Public speaking is not easy for everyone, but a Brampton workshop may take some of the stress out of giving an investor pitch.
The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre helps the local business community in a variety of ways, and one of these is through its Investor Pitch Preparation workshop. It will give the attendees tips and tools they can use to create pitches that can grab and hold the attention of potential investors, and the organizers have made plans for it to take place in the evening so as many as possible will be able to take part.
During the session, the attendees will be walked through the process of preparing their presentation, and there will be a focus on making the most of the time available. They will discuss ways of including their most important points while showing that they have found a new way of addressing their customer’s “pain points,” and the goal is for the learners to walk away feeling confident in their ability to get their ideas across to their audience.
The facilitator for this session will be Kevin Smith, who has a wealth of experience when it comes to marketing presentations. Promotional pens and other swag for this type of business-related function can be prepared for the event by local printers.
This chance for local entrepreneurs and others to perfect their pitch will be on offer on November 12. Slated to be held at 41 George Street South, it will begin at 6:30 pm.
