Brampton workshop to help new businesses succeed

Starting a small business can be a leap of faith, and it can make a lot of sense for someone planning to make this move to be as knowledgeable about the process as they can. A Brampton workshop can help, and it is open to all who are interested.

The “How to Start a Small Business” seminar will pack lots of tips, advice and other information into just 90 minutes. It will touch on all aspects of creating a business, right from when it is still just an idea, and it is free to register for this learning opportunity.

The class will start with information about the basics, such as registering a business name. After that, the discussion will move on to business structures, insurance, licensing requirements, hiring employees, financing and how to register for the HST. Paired with all of this will be details about how to create a business plan that can help them find success.

While a workshop like this can offer an introduction to getting a new company up and running, the participants may want even more details. Proving learning materials, such as training manuals, can offer a “deep dive” into the subject, and these can easily be prepared by a printing services company.

The scheduled start time of the “How to Start a Small Business” seminar is 10:00 am, and it will be offered in Gore Meadow Library. It has been planned for November 30th.
