Brampton to host Victorian Christmas Open House

This December, Brampton is invited to step back in time to experience a Victorian Christmas and celebrate local artisans and crafters.

The Historic Bovaird House and Pendergast Log House, built in the mid-1800s and currently one of Brampton's last log houses, will welcome people of all ages to its Victorian Christmas Open House and Gift Show. Admission and parking to the open house are free, though donations will be appreciated.

Those who attend the open house can enjoy a Victorian-themed craft show, with volunteers dressed in period costumes. The market will host a wide range of local artisans and crafters, making finding that perfect gift for loved ones this holiday season much easier. Some handmade items for sale include Christmas ornaments, jewellery, candles, vintage treasures, porcelain paintings and more. Guests are welcome to take a break from shopping and enjoy a cup of tea or mulled cider in Mossie’s Tea Room, which will also serve Christmas treats.

Event planners often focus on a centralized theme, such as a Victorian Christmas, which carries throughout the decor and marketing material. Professional brochure printing can make preparing for events that much easier, as it becomes one less item for event organizers to worry about.

The Historic Bovaird House and Pendergast Log House are located at 563 Bovaird Dr E, Brampton, and will open at 10 a.m. on December 7th and 8th.
