Brampton to hold Celtic celebrations

The Brampton Irish Centre Celtic Festival will close September and celebrate the heritage of those from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Brittany. It is expected to become an annual event.

There will be musical entertainment, traditional dances, food and drinks, and vendors selling Celtic-related items. It will be a superb chance for the community to learn about the Celtic culture in a relaxed and fun family-friendly atmosphere. Those who are looking for a unique gift to buy for a friend or family member can also probably find something at the festival that will fit those criteria.

The organizers will no doubt be working with Brampton printing companies to prepare for the festival. They will most likely be using services such as flyer printing, poster printing, banner printing, and sign printing to help get the word out to the community. Flyers detailing the activities that will be taking part at the festival can be hand delivered to residents of the community or can be distributed to local community centers. Since they can be distributed in so many different ways, they are often used in events such as this.

The Brampton Irish Centre provides programs and events for those of Celtic ancestry and those with an interest in Celtic heritage, including tin whistle and bodhran lessons, as well as a year round food drive.
The Celtic fun will take place September 29 - 30 from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. Admission is $10 or free for children under 10. For more information, contact Jennifer McKnight at 647-302-8191.
