Brampton seminar kind on the bank account

Brampton residents of all ages are invited to attend a free financial planning seminar later this month.

This seminar will cover the problem that many residents struggle to create a feasible budget they can live within. The holiday season can often be overshadowed by overspending, creating unnecessary stress during what should be a happy occasion. Holiday and festival survival guides will be presented, including creating a budget for gift giving and party planning. Creative ways to stretch hard-earned dollars, while still including everyone on your gift giving list, may also be part of the presentation.

Other topics will include how to budget for a dream vacation, and moneysaving ideas including simple changes to an everyday lifestyle may be discussed. Ways to stretch childcare dollars for new and expecting parents will also be reviewed.

The seminar will be based on programming provided by the Consolidated Credit Counselling Services of Canada, Inc. Brochures filled with ideas for successful budgeting, and Calendars for creating savings plans, may be provided during the seminar.

This free seminar will be presented next Wednesday, November 8, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The Centre for Education and Training will be hosting the event, and is located in South Brampton at 7700 Hurontario Street, Unit 601, Suite 100.

Anyone interested in attending should register by Tuesday, November 7, by calling 905-457-4747 extension 3013, or by emailing nic@tcet.com.
