Brampton plans family wreath workshop

A festive evergreen wreath can provide the perfect final touch to a household’s holiday decor, and a Brampton workshop will share tips and tricks for preparing one by hand.

The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRA) will be hosting a workshop at the Claireville Conservation Area that will see participants create colourful holiday wreaths. It will take place for three hours, and each ticket will admit up to four family members.

Each family will prepare their wreath using materials provided, and they will collect grapevines to prepare the base. Evergreen twigs, dried fruit, berries, ribbons and other seasonal elements will add the final touch, and the completed wreaths can then be hung on their home’s front door or another location. All ticket sales are final, and they are priced at $60.00 each.

A family workshop can be both creative and fun, and some may even choose to make them an annual tradition. Communities can task a local printing services company with preparing community guides that keep members of the public informed about what is on the way for their home area.

The Family Holiday Wreath Making Workshop is set to begin at 10:00 am on November 26th. The Claireville Conservation Area can be found at 8180 Highway 50 in Brampton, and at the time of this writing, passes are still available.
