The Wellspring Chinguacousy's Light-Up and Holiday Bazaar will be held in Brampton later this month. The event is organized to provide funding for the free programs, services, and support that Wellspring provides for those who suffer from cancer.
The Brampton event is one of many Light-Up shows set to take place in the Greater Toronto Area between now and Christmas. Guests are asked to make a donation in the name of someone they know who has suffered from cancer or in their own name if they are a survivor.
Sponsors can also purchase Christmas decorations, which begin at $5 for a light bulb and go up to $250 for a wreath or a menorah candle – all donations will be recognized either on paper bulbs at the event or directly on wreaths and candles.
The Chinguacousy celebration will feature an official lighting ceremony, tasty treats, refreshments, a silent auction, a bake sale, and a 50/50 sale. Residents of Brampton are asked to donate new and gently used items to be sold at the holiday bazaar; donations can be accepted until November 26. It should also be an opportunity for attendees to pick up some Christmas gifts.
It's likely that this event will be widely publicized in Brampton. Local printing companies are often asked to provide marketing products such as Brochures and Flyers to help get the word out to the community.
The Wellspring Chinguacousy's Light-Up and Holiday Bazaar is being held at the facility on November 28 from 5:00-8:00pm. To find out more, contact Marley Batenchuk at 905-792-6480.
