Brampton food festival to feature Canadian favourite

Traditionally made from French fries, cheese curds and gravy, poutine is a popular Canadian dish, and Brampton will be celebrating it with a special event.

Poutine Feast will be an afternoon of filling up on poutine prepared by a variety of eateries, and it will be making stops at locations all across the country. Its Brampton stop will be held at Rosalea Park, and there will be at least 50 variations of the dish on offer.

The options that will be available for sampling include choices for meat lovers, vegetarians vegans and those who follow a gluten free diet, and the portions will be generous. Many will have unique toppings, and while everyone enjoys the feast, they will be treated to live music and other entertainment. A selection of local vendors will be on site as well, and anyone who is interested is welcome to apply.

New for this year will be a VIP ticket option. Those who choose this will be offered a variety of perks, including a sponsor surprise gift bag. Corporate Gifts sometimes feature in gift Bags like this. Table service, special food and drinks and a VIP lanyard are also included in these passes.

The Brampton Poutine Feast will bring food and fun to the city on October 1st. The festivities will kick off at 12:00 pm.
