The 2014 Brampton Outstanding Business Achievement Awards is set to take place this May. It is a presentation of the Brampton Board of Trade and the city’s Economic Development Office.
The gala event will consist of a networking reception, dinner and presentation of the awards. The host for the evening will be Wendy Mesley from CBC television. In addition to the presentation of awards in seven categories, the Business Person of the Year will be announced. Last years’ winner was David Sharpe, from ScotiaMcLeod.
Among the seven categories of awards are Retail, Tourism, Innovation, Manufacturing, and Young Entrepreneur.
As with all business awards events, this will give local business leaders the chance to network with their peers. There will be plenty of time before the event and during dinner to briefly talk, exchange ideas, and swap Business Cards. No doubt many of the Brampton leaders who plan to attend will be contacting their local Stationery printer to place a business card printing order, thereby ensuring that they have enough on hand.
The Brampton Outstanding Business Achievement Awards gala will take place at Pearson Convention Centre on May 1st from 5:30pm – 9:30pm. Tickets are $120 each or $899 for a table of eight.
