A Brampton celebration will work to raise awareness about the importance of prostate-specific antigen (PSA testing), and all are welcome to what will be both an entertaining and health-conscious event.
This guy-themed event will include a show that will feature well-loved cars, motorcycles, trucks and other vehicles, and while they browse through them, the attendees can get a free PSA blood test. The results will be confidential, and everyone who would like to take advantage of this offer is asked to bring along their doctor’s name and contact details.
Along with the vehicle show and screenings, cancer specialist Dr. Andrew Loblaw from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre will be on hand to offer “office hours”. There will be giveaways of an assortment of Promotional Products, as well as raffles and entertainment, and food will be available for anyone in need of picnic-style fare.
This event is scheduled to start at 7:30 am, and the vehicle show will open at 10:00 am. The PSA tests will be offered from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and all men are welcome to drop in and ensure they are in good health.
The 14th Annual Cruisin’ for a Cure Canada’s Brampton event has been planned for the morning of Sunday, September 13. It will be held in the community’s CAA Centre.
