Brampton celebrates New Year's Eve with live bands and entertainment

On the last evening of 2014, Brampton residents were invited to come out and ring in the new year in style.

There was an agenda filled with plenty to see and do for all ages, and the festivities began at 7:00pm. There was everything form a dance party to children’s entertainment, a video game truck, a ‘speakers corner’, characters, psychic readings, free Ferris wheel rides, and much more.

When the revellers got hungry, there were many food trucks to choose from, as well as warming station with free hot beverages for anyone who found they were getting too cold.

Several live bands took to the stage, including Juno Award winners Arkells, as well as OBGM and Beetroots.

Even Brampton Transit joined in with the spirit of the occasion, giving free rides on all its routes starting at 7:00pm, plus extended services on some of its more heavily travelled routes. People wishing to find out when the next bus was on the way were invited to use the new NextRide smartphone app for information about this provided in real time.

A New Year celebration can give residents an opportunity to get together and get to know one another a bit better while having fun at the same time. A printing company can produce items like promotional Flyers, coloring sheets for the kids, and event schedules – all of which can help to make the evening as great as it can be.
