Beaux-Arts Brampton presents the photography of Ross Osprey

The exhibit Melange will take place from August 2 until August 27 at the Art Cove Gallery at Beaux-Arts Brampton; there will be a meet and greet at the gallery on August 6 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. The exhibit will feature the photography of Ross Osprey. Ross Osprey is a digital photographer who, among other things also designs Business Cards.

In addition to highlighting the photography of Ross Osprey, Melange will also display the paintings of Nancy Foster, Milly Tseng ad Rachael Dodgson. It is being called an “exhibit without a theme.” The photograph appearing on the exhibit poster was taken by Osprey.

Ross Osprey was born in Etobicoke and now lives in Brampton. He calls his work “photography with a twist.” His photography focuses primarily on the outdoors. He takes these photographs and manually enhances them using the computer. Ross Osprey entered a contest to design a postage stamp on the theme of “Deliver Hope” to raise mental health awareness in Canada and was a semi-finalist, he later framed his entry and auctioned it off to raise money for the Canada Post Foundation for Mental Health. Osprey also works in the interior decoration field.

Beaux-Arts Brampton is located at 70-74 Main Street North. Begun in 2002, it is, in their own words “a non-profit visual artists" cooperative. It provides a space for members to showcase their art, provides studio space for artists and provides a place for members to teach art to the general public.
