Annual luncheon to consider the state of the city

The 2014 Mayor's Luncheon, presented by the Brampton Board of Trade, is taking place this February.

Mayor Susan Fennell will be sharing her administration's successes of the past year, discuss economic and job creation initiatives, and plans for the future, while also handing out the community service award to a deserving city resident. As with every annual luncheon, it will be aimed at the relationship between the city government and local business. No doubt many in attendance will have the chance to ask the mayor and other city officials direct questions about how the new plans will affect their own business.

Events like this also offer a great networking event for those who run businesses in the Brampton area. With that in mind, it is very likely that many of those who plan to attend will be investing in a new business card printing order from local Print companies. There will be many opportunities to exchange cards over lunch and to discuss each person's business with their peers; the cards will ensure that those who want to keep in touch to propose future business will know which number to call.

The Mayor's Luncheon will be held on February 11 at the Pearson Convention Center from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Tickets are $48.67 for Brampton Board of Trade members and $57.52 for non-members before January 21 or $61.95 after. To find out more about the event, contact Mary Ann Eddy at 905-451-1122 x205.
