Annual hockey night returns to Brampton
Nothing stirs up the excitement of Canadians more than two electrifying words: hockey night. On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the 4th Annual Hockey Night in Brampton, Ontario returns, to much acclaim, to the CAA Centre, the home of the CEBL Brampton Honey Badgers and OHL Brampton Steelheads.
Last year, the event, which included NHL legends Shayne Corson and Kris Versteeg along with Zayne Parekh, Tyson Gilmour, and Jason Ward among others, raised $14M for William Osler Health System, which was organizing funding for the building of the city’s second hospital.
This year’s extravaganza will carry on the tradition of responding to Brampton’s growing need for healthcare services by donating raised funds to the adaptation of Peel Memorial into the city’s newest hospital. As of this posting, an official list of participants has not been released, but the event promises an:
It is expected that the 5,000-seat CAA Centre, located at 7575 Kennedy Rd., South, including its 250-seat restaurant, will be packed with fans along with proud contributors to the cause, like Panattoni, Capital Power, ARGO, DG Group, Great Gulf, TACC Developments, LiUNA, Paradise, Pattison, and others.
Sporting organisers often use poster printing as a grassroots method of promoting the event.
