The Disha South Asian Gala is taking place in Brampton next month. It is being organized to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society.
In keeping with the broad multicultural flavor of the city of Brampton, the gala will feature South Asian fashion shows, a variety of foods from the region, dance performances, music, and a silent auction. Guests can purchase regular tickets or VIP entry, which will provide preferred seating.
More than 600 people are expected to attend the gala, which is likely to involve business leaders, community organizations, professionals in the medical field, and those who are simply interested in helping such a worthwhile charity. It will also be an excellent opportunity to enjoy all that South Asian culture – which is already very prevalent in the area - has to offer.
The proceeds will help to fund research, client services, and programs for the Society.
Brampton printing companies have likely been asked to provide products such as tickets and advertising materials like Flyers for this popular occasion. The Flyers can then be distributed to residents through Direct Mail or placed at community and cultural centres in the city.
The Disha South Asian Gala is taking place at the Chandi Convention Centre on October 4 from 6:30-11:00pm. Ticket prices are $50 for regular and $100 for VIP.
