CeleBrampton is taking place this June in the downtown area of the city. Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank.
The celebration will be divided up into several zones in downtown Brampton. The Kids Zone, for instance, will be located at Gage Park and will feature games, a 25-foot slide, a climbing wall, and a crafts station.
The official opening ceremonies will be held in the Concert Zone at Garden Square. Later in the day, there is set to be performances, including the Frozen show and Pop Idols in Concert. The BMX Stunt Zone, located on Main Street North, will feature a show and a bike festival. The Community Zone and Village will feature over 30 local organizations that will be providing information on their services. Finally, Info City will provide information about the city of Brampton itself.
In addition to the zones, there will be free food all day, which will include BBQ and snow cones, and plenty of samples and giveaways for everyone who attends.
The event will finish off with the Flower City Parade along Main Street.
Banners and Signs may be displayed all over downtown Brampton during the festival to highlight specific zones. Local Print companies typically provide them.
