Whiskies are crafted all over the world, and an upcoming Vancouver workshop will introduce them to local professional and amateur mixologists alike.
The Spirit Tasting Seminar, which is on offer at Fine Art Bartending Vancouver, will explore whiskies from around the globe, offering tasting tips and other advice that will help them to make the most of the drink. It will also introduce the attendees to the various methods for producing whiskey and how different counties have traditionally crafted it.
During the session, the registrants will sample an assortment of whiskies, and proper sipping and tasting techniques will be introduced to the group. Participants will also discover how to take proper notes, learning how, if they use the right whiskey, they may not need to use a mix. The ways ingredients and fermentation methods can affect the taste will also be reviewed, and tickets are $59.00 each.
It has been noted that, due to the Covid pandemic, this event has had to be postponed, but it will be back and in person next month. Tasting glasses and other items for this sort of activity may be ordered from a local producer of Corporate Gifts.
The Whiskies Tasting Class will be on offer on November 19th. The venue is located at 432 West Penderstreet, and it will begin at 7:00 pm.
