Vancouver welcomes return of Feast of Fields

Vancouver’s Farm at UBC will be rolling out the welcome mat for an event that provides a way for city dwellers to learn more about where the food on their plate comes from, and this will be its 31st year.

The venue will once again welcome diners for its Feast of Fields, and it's billed as being a wandering harvest festival. It will celebrate the connection between chefs and the farmers who grow the food they prepare, and everyone is invited to raise a glass and join in the fun.

Each ticket holder for the affair will receive a napkin to use while they sip on a glass of vino, going from tent to tent, sampling as they go. Both food and drinks will be on the menu, and the cuisine will be prepared by an assortment of chefs who hail from BC’s lower mainland. The tickets include all of the samples, and there is also a VIP option. The charity of choice will be FarmFolk CityFolk, which works to make local food systems more equitable and sustainable.

Souvenir cedar plates will be on offer at the event, and can be purchased for $10.00 each. Promotional Products for a function may be sourced from a local printing services provider.

The 2026 instalment of Fest of Fields is scheduled for August 23rd. The Farm is located at 3461 Ross Drive.
