Vancouver symphony performance to feature special musical score

Video game music usually provides background noise and helps build atmosphere for the players, but during a special concert by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra that will be held in the city, it will be the star of the show.

The score for the concert will be performed by the symphony, and the pieces will range from music by BioShock, to tunes from Portal, Halo and several other video game titles. It will be an immersive presentation, and the senses of sight and sound will both be included.

While the audience enjoys the performance, they can also take in a show of clips to accompany the music. These will be shown on the big screen, and will allow gamers to fondly remember the time they spent playing and exploring through these virtual worlds.

This special event has been scheduled for the Orpheum Theatre, and it will run for about 90 minutes. Poster printing can be a helpful tool when promoting this sort of function, and these marketing materials can include lots of eye-catching graphic design elements.

This symphony performance, which will combine both visual and musical entertainment in celebration of a popular hobby, will be staged on both June 12 and 13. It will be conducted by Kevin Zakresky, and the ticket prices for the evening start at $26.50.
