Starting this February, Vancouver’s preschool aged kids will be able to explore the world around them, as well as their creative side, through a series of weekly activity sessions.
These morning sessions, which will be held in the Douglas Park Community Centre, are intended for kids between the ages of four and six. They will follow a small group format, and the children will be encouraged to let their creative sides shine.
The organizers of these activities have noted that they can be a great way for kids to get ready for kindergarten, and crafting, games, stories and nature exploration are all on the agenda. The supplies that will be used will be provided to each child, and as the fun will take place both indoors and out, parents and caregivers are reminded to make sure each participant is dressed for the occasion.
Registrations for these winter sessions are now on offer, and the fee starts at $80 per child. Customized intake Forms and business documents for sessions like these can be ordered from local printers that craft Letterheads and other personalized Stationery items.
The Creative Play mornings will kick off on February 10th and wrap up on March 10th. Each will begin at 10:00am, and the program is an initiative of the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation.
