Vancouver ride to show support to Silver Cross families

A military member and their family face many challenges, and a ride that will offer a salute to Silver Cross families across the country is set to hit the road in Vancouver later this year.

V2V Blackhops Brewing Company and Trev Deeley Motorcycles will once again be hosting a ride that will pay homage to fallen Canadian airmen, soldiers, sailors and Rangers. This will be the 10th year for the activity, and everyone can take part, whether they want to do so on two wheels or just want to give those who do a send-off.

The memorial ride will wind its way through West Vancouver and Cypress Mountain, before heading back the staging area. Upon their return, the riders can mingle in the beer garden and enjoy a barbecue lunch. A brief ceremony has been planned, and additional details about this will be provided closer to the date.

When those who are interested register for the event, they will be able to pick up a shirt that includes a special graphic design prepared for the occasion. These will be available for as long as supplies last.

The date for the Memorial Ride for the Fallen is scheduled for June 6th, and kickstands will be going up at 10:00am. The staging area will be set up at 1875 Boundary Road in Vancouver.
