A library often serves as a hub for community activities, and Vancouver’s stuffed animal set is about to be treated to a sneak peek into what goes on in these buildings after the last patrons have gone home for the night.
The Firehall Branch of the Vancouver Public Library system will be giving stuffed animals the inside scoop into what takes place in a library at night by hosting the Stuffed Animal Sleepover. The kids who take part will drop off their stuffed friend to spend two nights at the library, and the staff will be on hand to take lots of fun photos. When it is time for the toys to head for home, the families will be able to view the pictures and see what went on during their stay. This function is part of the venue’s Spring Break program of activities.
Libraries host a variety of activities, and many of them have been designed to make learning fun. A poster printing company can prepare an assortment of materials that inform patrons about what is in the works at libraries and other event spaces for the upcoming month.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover will see kids drop off their stuffed animals at 3:45pm on Tuesday, March 19th. They can then be picked up at 10:00am on Thursday, March 21st.
