Rib festivals are a popular summer tradition in many Canadian communities, and the Vancouver area has one of these tasty celebrations scheduled for this July.
Starting in 2015, the Port Moody Rotary Club Ribfest has come to be a much-loved local celebration. In the past, it has attracted tens of thousands of visitors over its three-day run, and its organizers are anticipating that it will be just as successful in 2022.
The annual event brings together members of the area’s food service community. They can showcase their top BBQ and grilled dishes, and along with this, there will be live music, games and lots of fun on offer for the whole family. The presenting sponsor for the function is Onni Group, and a grant has been provided by the Province of British Columbia. To ensure the function is accessible to as many as possible, working service animals are welcome, but pets need to be left at home.
Summer community celebrations such as this are often relaxed affairs, and banner printing companies will be able to prepare decorations that fit in well with the overall casual atmosphere.
