Many food service operators have chosen to forgo the usual brick-and-mortar-style eatery and instead utilize four wheels, and a festival that celebrates these mobile restaurants will soon be on offer in Vancouver.
Foodies from across the city who would like to be able to enjoy fare prepared by a variety of Chefs will be able to do so when they attend the 2nd annual Food Truck Festival @ UBC. It will be set up in the UBC Commons, located in front of the AS Nest, and free admission passes are available.
The festivities will get started in time for lunch on both of its scheduled dates, and at least 20 trucks will be rolling in. They will each have their own unique menu. The event will continue on until the early evening, and along with the food trucks, there will be a vendor area supported by BC Shop Local, as well as live music.
A pop-up event like this often depends on marketing to help get the word out. A printing services company will be happy to help prepare promotional materials such as Flyers or Posters.
