The annual Vancouver Tea Festival will be returning to the city next month.
When it comes to beverages, tea ranks among the world’s most loved. This popular event will offer a deep dive experience into the world of tea and will be hosted by the Vancouver Tea Society.
The festival will be filled with tea tastings, presentations and even a vendor market. A tea ceremony will be one of the highlights of the festivities, and the entry fee also includes admission to the onsite Nikkei National Museum.
As well as admission to the museum, each ticket holder will receive a tasting cup printed with a special graphic design. There will be free tastings as well as a selection that requires the payment of an additional fee. The tea marketplace will be filled with an assortment of exhibitors, making it a great opportunity for event goers to fill their cupboards with an assortment of type and flavours of teas.
This gathering of tea lovers is open to all ages, and tickets start at $7 each. Donations to the Vancouver Tea Festival will also be appreciated, as these will help the society to meet the costs of hosting the celebration.
The Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre will be welcoming Vancouver's teaophiles on March 7th and 8th. It will be open to guests from 10am until 4pm on both days.
