Vancouver art class to utilize natures bounty

Mother's Day celebrates the connection between moms and kids, and a nature-based crafting activity will mark the occasion this May.

A hands-on class that will be held in North Vancouver will transform moss, leaves and other natural elements into a unique design. The organizers have explained that these require no care and can last for years, and all of the materials needed for the project will be provided.

The attendees will learn how they can use preserved moss and foliage, along with a wooden frame to create their piece. These will be suitable for hanging in a home or office, but they can also be displayed on a table or in other ways as well. Everyone will receive a complimentary, non-alcoholic beverage to sip on while they work and chat with the other crafters, and tickets for the occasion start at $155.76.

Workshops, classes and information sessions give adults an opportunity to keep on learning throughout their lives. Marketing materials for a class or other learning activity can be prepared by area Stationery printers.

The Mother's Day Moss Art Workshop with Kimiko will begin at 11:00 am on May 13th. It is set to take place at 1432 Rupert Street, and tickets for the morning can be purchased by visiting its Eventbrite listing.
