Summer camp is often thought of as being for kids, but a Vancouver event is set to let adults get in on the fun as well.
Jonathan Rogers Park will be giving adults an opportunity to feel like kids again when they attend a summer camp style experience. These daytime activities will help support youth mental health efforts in the community, and it will run for three days.
The registrants in the session will be treated to camp style activities that offer a “big people” twist. A ribfest style BBQ will be the headliner, and it will be joined by live music as well as an assortment of adult sized lawn games. The crowd can relax and unwind with a cold brew in the beer tent, and everyone can spend some time shopping in the vendor market that will showcase local small businesses. While admission will be free, tickets must be reserved ahead of time.
Summer festivals are commonplace in many Canadian cities during the summer months. When choosing banner printing and other services, organizers often turn to local Print shops.
These three days of summer camp fun for adults will run from June 21st to June 23rd. This will be the first time that it has taken place, and the venue can be found at 110 West 7th Avenue. It is reserved for adults only, and pets are not permitted.
