While there is a saying about not being able to teach a dog new tricks, a series of guitar classes in Vancouver will soon be proving this theory wrong.
The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) School of Music will be hosting a series of adult classes that will teach the fundamentals of playing the guitar, and these classes will take place in person. The series will be focused on classical pieces, and the instruction will be provided by a seasoned professional.
The registration fee for this adults-only class series is $295, and the planners have explained that it will be an intensive experience, so that the students can learn as much as possible. A variety of techniques will be taught, and fretboard strategies and participating in an ensemble performance are both on the agenda. Each session will be three hours long, and spaces in the program may still be available.
Taking part in this sort of activity gives musicians a chance to hone their skills, and Copies of handouts and other learning materials for the occasion can be prepared by local Print shops.
The VSO School of Music will be hosting its Guitar Explorations for Adults series from July 5th to July 9th. The classes are aimed at those aged 16 and up, and they will be held at 843 Seymour Street. Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Copies
