This summer will see the return of one of New Westminster’s biggest street parties, as Uptown Live returns to the city’s business district.
Uptown Live takes place across more than six city blocks, which are separated into dedicated “zones” full of the work of local artists and creators. There will be an artisan market made up of local vendors offering everything from art and jewellery to specialty food and drink. This will include a selection of food trucks from the Metro Vancouver area, ranging from classics such as burgers and hot dogs to diverse street food. Markets such as this provide an opportunity for customers to sample new foods and products, with vendors often offering special deals or Promotional Products.
There will also be a stage for live performances, featuring emerging musical talents from across British Columbia. In addition to musical acts, the stage will welcome cultural performances that reflect New West’s diversity, including representation of local Indigenous cultures. The event aims to be a family-friendly experience with something for all ages, and free admission for all. Douglas College will be sponsoring and helping to promote the event, including offering kid-friendly format opportunities. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the summer festival.
The 2023 instalment of Uptown Live will take place in Uptown New Westminster on July 15.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
