Street festival to excite New West

The 12th Street Festival will be returning to New Westminster this July, aiming to provide entertainment and promote connection in the community.

The summer festival is organized by the West End Business Association in order to highlight the neighbourhood. There will be food trucks and vendors offering a sampling of local cuisine, as well as artisan and craft vendors. Local groups and professionals often use Promotional Products and special sales to help make a permanent connection.

The festival will also include live music from local artists across three stages, with performers to be announced in the lead-up to the event. Young visitors can enjoy family-friendly activities in the Kids Zone. Community groups will also have a major presence, identifying how they can help people and how volunteers can get involved.

Roads around the festival are typically closed to ensure an immersive pedestrian experience. The event is hosted with the support of the City of New Westminster and the British Columbia Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, in addition to local business sponsors. Advertising encourages community members to:

“Join us for an unforgettable day filled with live entertainment, amazing food, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and so much more.”

The 2026 edition of the 12th Street Fest will take place in New Westminster on July 26, and is free to attend.
