The event boasts of being the largest collectibles show in the province, and includes over 200 vendor tables. Exhibitors will be offering items such as Postcards, historic photographs, vinyl records, movie Posters, toys and jewellery. Items will range from periods throughout the 20th century and earlier, including rare collector items.
The show will begin with a special Friday night sneak peek before a full day of shopping on Saturday. Early admission will be available for special ticketholders, as well as vendors looking to trade or barter with each other. Sales will be cash only, although some vendors will offer Square debit payment.
Vintage events like this often use flyer printing and social media to reach out to collectors of all ages. Proceeds from the event will go towards the FVACC, which holds sales throughout the year and also publishes Books such as a recent one on early pharmacies in British Columbia. The club’s website says that:
“It has members that are devoted to the identification, preservation, appreciation and collection of antiques, collectibles and local historical artifacts.”
The 2026 FVACC Collectibles & Antiques Show will take place on August 28 and 29 at Queens Park Arena in New Westminster.
