July is a great time for a street festival. The weather is warm and the arrival of summer tends to put everyone into a good mood. Two upcoming street festivals in New Westminster are certainly set to get people outside to enjoy the summer weather.
The first of which, the Key West Ford Show and Shine is a free annual event. This festival takes place on Columbia Street. It will give members of the public an opportunity to view some cars, show off their bicycles, and to learn something new. There will be entertainment provided by Stacey McKitrick, interactive activities, food, and a block party. This year, hybrid and other alternative energy cars will be showcased on Electric Avenue.
The 12th Street Music Festival is taking place later on in the month. This annual festival is a presentation of the West End Business Association. There will be blues, jazz and country music to enjoy, activities for the whole family and, of course, food for purchase.
The organizers of both of these festivals have no doubt been working with New Westminster printing companies to prepare. This might include investing in services such as sign, banner, and flyer printing to raise awareness of the events in the community.
