The 8th annual Quayside Boardwalk Festival and Sale – an event that attracts at least 10,000 visitors each year – is taking place in New Westminster this August.
The festival is expected to feature up to 200 booths of merchandise, which will include both new and used items for sale. Anyone in the community can rent space for reasonable prices; fees range from $15 for Quayside Community Board members up to $150 for commercial businesses, while non-profit organizations and charities can receive space for free. Those who are interested must sign up by August 4th.
Non-profit groups and charities that are participating will be providing information about their programs and services, and may also be looking for volunteers.
In addition to the sales and informational booths, there will be three stages, live music, food for sale, a Kid Zone, a dog wash and pet center, and a charity raffle.
Those who rent space might decide to contact New Westminster printing companies to help decorate their booth or table. This might include sign and banner printing services; a colorful sign or banner that catches the eye might result in more business.
