New Westminster, BC law enforcement recently promoted an event intended to help keep young people in the community safe.
As part of National Prescription Drug Drop Off Day, residents were encouraged to go through their medicine cabinets and return any unused or unwanted prescription medications to the front counter located in the community’s Police Department. Personnel there promised to see that they are disposed of properly.
The event was sponsored by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, and saw detachments from all across the country taking part in their own home areas. Printing companies can create all the promotional materials that a campaign like this needs to be successful, including Posters, Flyers, Brochures, stickers, and more.
The goal of the annual campaign is to help raise awareness about, and reduce the number of, youths who become addicted to these types of medications while using them inappropriately. This can lead to a host of negative consequences for their health, both in the short term and over longer periods of time.
The public is also reminded that anytime they are finished with a prescription and have medication left over, it can be returned to their local pharmacy, which will ensure it is deposed of in a fashion that is safe for both people and the environment.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Posters
