Bump Physio is a new location of an established physiotherapy clinic that deals with everything from sports injury treatment to childbirth preparation. The service also offers clinical Pilates, counselling and kinesiology. The new location is designed to present a bright and calming environment, featuring six treatment rooms with plenty of natural light. Bump also says it aims to provide an inclusive environment for people of all genders and abilities, including being wheelchair accessible and easy to reach through public transit.
The business’s mission statement emphasizes a hands-on and communal approach:
“It often takes a village, and we understand the need for multidisciplinary care and attention to help you move and feel your best!”
The event will take the form of an official ribbon cutting with a small celebration afterwards. Events like this, along with flyer printing and online outreach, are crucial tools to help notify the community of a new business or service, and often come after an unofficial “soft launch”. Other Bump Physio & Co locations are already open in Langley and Port Moody.
The New Westminster location of Bump Physio & Co., located in the Sapperton Brewery district, will hold its ribbon-cutting ceremony on the afternoon of March 4.
