New Westminster to host science events for children

This July, the Fraser River Discovery Centre will be holding eight weeks of summer camping events for kids in New Westminster.

Parents and guardians are welcome to register children age 6 to 11 years old for this daytime camping event. Admission is priced at $250 per child for one week. When registering for more than one camp, parents and guardians who are enrolling their children will receive a 10% discount on all weekly fees. This discount also applies when two or more children from the same family are registered for a camp.

During this New Westminster event, participants will be able to enjoy a summer of activities and games that will teach them about the plants and wildlife that live in and around the Fraser River. Attendees will be able to get a detailed look at the Fraser River watershed and learn about the Pacific salmon that travel through the river. All children must wear masks while indoors throughout the duration of the event. The hosts of educational events often advertise locally by investing in high-quality flyer printing services to create informative event announcements.

The Fraser River Discovery Centre summer camps are set to begin on Monday, July 4 and end on Friday, August 26. Each day of the camps will take place from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
