Next month, Moms Stop The Harm will be hosting its annual general meeting and conference in New Westminster.
Moms Stop The Harm is a group that works to combat substance use and reduce stigma against sufferers and their families. The network provides support to Canadian families who have loved ones who have struggled with addiction.
Keynote speakers who will be present at the conference include Kevin Hollett, Maia Szalavitz, Travis Lupick and Dr. Perry Kendall. Coffee breaks and meals will be available for attendees on each of the three days of the event. When planning conferences, many hosts of New Westminster events raise awareness about their causes and events through poster printing. Colourful, informative printouts are effective at grabbing peoples’ attention.
In-person event tickets are available to buy online at $150 per person for the Friday conference. Saturday-only tickets cost $75, while Sunday-only tickets are priced at $50 per individual. Anyone who wishes to attend virtually can buy tickets for $50. Participants who will only take part in the annual general meeting can register for free. In-person paid tickets include meals, an event T-shirt and a swag bag, while free and virtual options do not.
This annual conference and meeting event will run from Friday, June 3 to Sunday, June 5. The conference will take place at the Inn At The Quay.
