New Westminster hosts cultural crawl

The city of New Westminster is set to host a two-day cultural and visual art festival next month.

This festival is designed to help promote and celebrate the diversity of culture in the city of New Westminster. Flyer printing can be helpful in promoting community events like this one.

The New Westminster Cultural Crawl will be sprawled throughout the city, giving attendees the opportunity to not only view the art that cultural organizations and facilities have to offer, but to also appreciate the physical beauty of the city as they walk through the city streets to the various venue locations.

The crawl will also allow participants a window into local artists’ lives, with artists opening their studios so attendees can view and listen to them talk about their creative works and process. There will also be opportunities for participants to paint at the paint “pop ins” that will be held at various locations around the city. Attendees will need to prebook for some events due to popular demand in previous years.

This self-guided event will also showcase the various art galleries, historical arenas and theatres that make up the city of New Westminster.

The New Westminster Cultural Crawl will be held on October 15 and 16 from 11 am to 5 pm. Further details can be found on the Art-BC site.
