This summer, New Westminster will play host to a pop up playground that will bring European style play to the city.
The public is invited to bring their kids for the day, which will give them an opportunity to express their creative side. A variety of donated materials will be available for the youngsters to build with, including Boxes, PVC pipe, fabric, boards and more. A station will be set up where adults will lend a hand with any cutting that needs done.
The children will be encouraged to let their imaginations run wild and build anything they desire. It will also give them a chance to find out for themselves what works and what does not using the materials at hand, and to have fun doing so. Banners and other decorations can be hung during community based events like this to help add an even more festive air to the day and encourage everyone to take part.
There is no charge for this event, which will take place on July 10th in New Westminster’s Tipperary Park starting at 10:00 am. The area will provide a space that’s open, so their creations can be as big as their imagination. Parents need to remain on hand while their kids play, but they are encouraged to let the children direct the activity.Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Boxes
