The Uptown Live Street Party is taking place for one day next month in New Westminster. It is a presentation of the Uptown New Westminster Business Association and the City of New Westminster.
There will be lots of activities taking place during the day that will be sure to please visitors of all ages and interests. There will be four music stages set up that will host such artists as Hey Ocean!, John Welsh and Los Valientes, The Tourist Company and Major Fantasy.
There will be art installations hosted by the Arts Council of New Westminster and New West Artists, as well as a variety of interactive exhibits.
In addition, several food trucks will be on hand and guests can relax in the Cariboo Beer Garden. There are also set to be a number of vendors set up along the street that will be selling items such as fine art, handmade jewelry, clothing, and ceramics.
New Westminster flyer printing firms are often asked to provide the necessary printed advertising to spread the word about upcoming street festivals.
The Uptown Live Street Party will be held in the Uptown Business District at Sixth Avenue and Sixth Street on July 21 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. Call 604-354-8852 for the most current information or to become a vendor.
