Middle Eastern culture to be celebrated in New Westminster

The second annual Cabaret Orientale is being presented by the Ammara Dance Company in New Westminster next month. The glamorous event features a full evening of music from the Middle East. During the performances, people can enjoy top performers who will be showcasing traditional and modern styles of Middle Eastern dance.

This year’s special guest performer is set to be Amar Gamal, a renowned belly dancer. Flyer printing may have been used to advertise the function to members of this community; perhaps putting emphasis on the event’s special guest.

During the elegant evening showcase, guests will be transported to far-away lands while enjoying a festival of dancing expressions and styles. As well as the internationally famous special guest, there will also be some of the best dancers from the Vancouver Island area and the lower mainland region.

This great family event is expected to be a wonderful way to introduce children to a different culture. During this evening performance, guest will find themselves swinging and swaying to a wide range of music, perhaps taking some pointers from the professionals.

Tickets are $20 per person if purchased in advance or $25 per person if bought at the door. All ages are welcome to enjoy the festivities. The Cabaret Orientale will be happening on Saturday February 16th starting at 7:30pm at the Columbia Theatre in New Westminster, British Columbia.
