As the temperatures fall and the holiday season kicks in, New Westminster is beginning to line up holiday performances and recitals at Massey Theatre. The upcoming performances and holiday calendar of events will be advertised in flyer printings and Brochures through the Massey Theatre book office.
The annual Winter Groove year end recital is held by Fresh Groove Productions and has become an important dance studio that exclusively teaches hip hop, street dance and breakdancing to families. Fresh Groove will be in attendance at Massey Theatre on December 2 for its recital.
The holiday season would not be complete without choir performances of Christmas carols. The Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir performs at New Westminster on December 4. The choir will perform festive tunes in medieval attire and medieval instruments for too add holiday joy to the BC air.
On December 9 the New Westminster Symphony Orchestra joins the Richmond Academy of Dance for a concert with selections of the Christmas musical The Nutcracker. The Royal Youth Ballet will perform the full ballet on December 18 for audiences. This delectable performance will include a cast of over 100 dancers under the artistic direction of Dolores Kirkwood.
The Royal City Musical Theatre is advertising its spring production tickets as excellent stocking stuffers for arts enthusiasts.
